About our Guest
Rob Gee is a highly acclaimed British poet, comedian, and writer, known for his dynamic stand-up poetry performances and solo shows exploring mental health themes.
Rob Gee worked as a registered nurse in mental health units across the UK and Australia for 12 years. His experience includes work in acute psychiatry, child and adolescent units, and dementia settings. This experience strongly influences his writing, particularly his solo shows, which often include insights into mental illness and the healthcare system. Some NHS trusts use his show, “Forget Me Not: The Alzheimer’s Whodunnit,” for staff training in ethics and reporting concerns.
