Friends, Alice and Lucy are the hosts of lABLEd, they met online during the Covid 19 pandemic and got on so well they decided to create a podcast together.
Both have a background in Media Studies and Lucy has a history of working in community and local radio. They are both passionate advocates for disabled people and have found that hosting lABLEd has only strengthened their understanding and compassion for others. – both say, ‘lABLEd has made us better disabled people’.
Daisy Holder
Disability Historian
Daisy is the podcast’s resident historian, and a disability history researcher and archivist from the Westcountry. They run Disability History Snapshots, set up the Covid Disability Archive and have worked with many organisations and museums to discover and preserve disabled people’s heritage. They are also the author of Queer Disability Through History, published in 2024.

Adam is editor of lABLEd and has a background in technology and Media Studies.
